1. Bayreuth Microplastics Symposium

Eröffnet wurde das 1. Bayreuther Mikroplastik-Symposiums, veranstaltet vom Sonderforschungsbereich „Mikroplastik“ der Universität Bayreuth von Universitätspräsident Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible und Prof. Dr. Christian Laforsch, Sprecher des SFB „Mikroplastik“.

Den Eröffnungsvortrag hielt Prof. Dr. Richard Thompson, University of Plymouth/ Großbritannien, zum Thema „Mikroplastik in Ozeanen“

Vom 28.2 bis 4.3 gab es eine Ausstellung mit Collage-Kunstwerken aus Plastik von Mbongeni Buthelezi und eeine FSB Mikroplastik Science Rallye.
