BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues

BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues

The BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues are a political forum for water and waste water management. Participants come from governments, non-governmental organizations, research and science, and include decision-makers of international water users from industry, energy and agriculture as well as representatives of major cities. The next BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues will deal with the rapid processes of change and adaptation in global urbanisation towards sustainable approaches such as the “Smart City” approach. To do so, the following questions will be discussed: How can water management be part of this transformation process, how can it contribute and what opportunities does water management offer to achieve the UN sustainability goals of the 2030 Agenda (in particular SDG 6 and SDG 11)?
